Ban on overtime and shift changes in food industry from February 7 to April 6 2025

With the ban on overtime and shift changes, we are accelerating negotiations to create new collective agreements.

SEL has declared for an overtime and shift changes ban. The overtime and shift changes ban begins on Friday February 7 2025 at 00:00 and ends on Sunday April 6 2025 at 23:59.

The overtime and shift changes ban applies to all employees in all workplaces that comply with the collective agreement between SEL and ETL.

During the overtime ban, employees only work regular working hours. Employees do not work overtime.

During the shift changes ban, employees follow the confirmed shift list. Employees do not change shifts at the employer’s initiative.

The overtime and shift changes ban is a legal industrial action that cannot result in sanctions for the employee.

We need every employee to participate! With the ban on overtime and shift changes, we are accelerating negotiations to create new collective agreements. It’s about your salary and other working conditions!
