SEL membership fee will remain the same and is 1.4% also in 2026. The membership fee includes the unemployment fund membership fee.

SEL membership fee will remain the same and is 1.4% also in 2026. The membership fee includes the Open Unemployment Fund A-kassa membership fee, which SEL pays on behalf of its working-age members.

SEL membership fee is paid from your gross salary. No membership fee is paid for benefits paid by the unemployment fund.

You do not have to pay SEL membership fee, for example, if you are out of work and do not receive a salary because you are studying full-time, are on unpaid family leave or are completely unemployed or laid off.

Please inform to SEL’s membership register if you are out of working life and do not receive a salary. If you work part-time, you must pay SEL membership fee of 1.4 percent of your gross salary every month.
