Finnish Food Workers’ Union SEL

The union for food workers, SEL takes care of the wage and work conditions of its members. Over 80% of the workers in the branch are organised in SEL. The union has 36,000 members, with about 25,000 in active work. SEL negotiates and signs the collective agreements for the bakery, meat processing, dairy, soft drink and brewery industries.
